Sunrise Lasik

Nearly 20 years ago, Lasik eye surgery was introduced in the U.S. Precise accuracy and reliability of the surgery have seen constant improvement since the early days. You can have total faith in our corrective vision procedure, because our surgeons use the safest, most effective Lasik equipment available to reshape your cornea and restore your vision.

Whether you are shortsighted, farsighted, or suffer astigmatism, you can trust that the outcome of this powerful 5-minute procedure will feel like a rebirth for you. Your doctor will design an effective surgical plan based on your exact eye prescription. No pain is involved, and you will be awake during the operation.

Lasik has become very popular because your surgery usually takes less than 10 minutes, and many patients see much better almost immediately. Think about what it would feel like to never need glasses or contact lenses again. You’d never even have to try to think back to where you put them down last. They would be a relic from the past. In many cases, vision gets even better over the following few weeks. We’ve had patients tell us that they NEVER saw this well, even with their glasses.

Lasik is not appropriate for all cases. At Sunrise Lasik, the doctors use every tool available to make sure you are a good candidate who will get an excellent result, and that there is no risk to your eyesight. Since proper healing is essential to your result, we ensure before surgery that your immune system is operating as it should. Any other conditions that might compromise your result (e.g., chronic dry eyes, cataracts, glaucoma) must be treated and handled before any surgery. We also will never treat anyone whose eyesight prescription falls outside our safety limits.

You will be asked to rest a bit in our office after your surgery. You will also not be able to drive yourself home, so you will need to arrange to be picked up. We recommend that you relax comfortably at home for the next day or two, to give your eyes some much-needed rest. It’s also a good idea to avoid any strenuous activity for a week or so, so that your eyes can heal properly, without any setbacks.

You may call us at 1-888-93-LASIK with your prescription, and we’ll be able to tell you on the spot if you are a good fit for Lasik. At that point, you can schedule an appointment in the office for a complete vision evaluation and our recommendation.
